HELLO! I'm Laura, thanks for stopping by!
I'm a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. I'm passionate about yoga and the mental and physical benefits we can all achieve through regular practice.

I've been practicing Iyengar yoga for more than 10 years now and have been qualified as an Introductory Level II teacher since October 2014. I'm fortunate to be taught by very experienced and senior teachers, all members of the North East Institute of Iyengar Yoga (NEIIY) and Iyengar Yoga (UK).
In December 2015 I travelled to Pune, India for the first time to attend 'Yoganusasanum', a massive yoga event attended by 1200+ yogis from all over the world, taught by Geeta Iyengar, the daughter of the late BKS Iyengar. This was a fantastic, inspiring experience - hopefully I will return to India one day soon!
